HelpSmith is a visual help authoring tool for easy creation of CHM Help files, Web Help systems, Word RTF, PDF, and Printable Manuals using the same source help project. The intuitive environment with a straight-forward user interface includes a powerful Word-like unicode text editor for working on help topicswith dynamic styles and live spell checker, advanced approach to working with graphical and video files, automatic correction system, and many other useful features. Based on the original technologies HelpSmith, provides you with an easy way to create help files from scratch and also lets you import help topics from HTML, Word RTF, TXT files that can be written in multiple ANSI encodings. You can use HelpSmith to provide help files for your own application in multiple help formats such as HTML Help files, a standard help format in Windows. HelpSmith has complete support for all the features of HTML Help CHM format, allowing you to create the hierarchical TOC, alphabetical keyword Index, also you can edit html help's help windows, etc. The WYSIWYG principle makes the process of using HelpSmith as easy as working with regular office application. And, actually, you do not have to learn any technical details to create professional help files and documentation with the HelpSmith authoring tool.
